Trade Fairs
Organised by the state run company BelExpo who offer a varied programme throughout the year. Some are a bit too specialist to attract the general public. One big exception is the annual automobile exhibition, which attracts huge crowds.
There are two exhibition halls in Minsk. The Exhibition Pavilion at Yanka Kupali 27 (Я.Купалы, 27) is near the city centre on the road that runs from the park of the same name to the old town. The Exhibition Pavilion at Prospect Podetiteley 14 (Проспект Победителей 14) has a rather deceptive address. There aren’t a lot of buildings on that side of the street, so the seventh building on the right hand side is actually about 3 kilometres away from the start of the road in the city centre. The 1, 73, or 91 buses will get you there.
