Bus
International buses arrive at the Moscow Bus Station (Moskovski Avtovakzal), which is north-east of the centre on Prospekt Nezavisimosti. Previously international buses had all arrived at the Central Bus Station (Tsentralni Avtovokzal), which was conveniently located next to the railway station. This was flattened in 2007 and it’s replacement won’t be ready until 2011.
Toilets are located in the small square at the centre of the bus station. The ticket office and time-tables are on the first floor, while upstairs you’ll find a small canteen with a bar (8:00-20:00 daily) selling basic hot meals at ridiculously low prices.
To get to the centre you can take a taxi or the metro. Moskovskaya metro station is about 200 metres away on Prospekt Nazavisimosti. When you leave the bus station you need to turn left and follow the main road to get there.
If you are unfortunate enough to end up at the Eastern Bus Station (the Eurolines representative in Minsk assures me that none of their buses stop there any more) your best bet to get to the centre is to take a taxi as it's not very central. Otherwise the 93 bus will take you to Partizansksaya metro station
